My 45th. post!

I was totally inspired by Rose at Ahtee's Blog ^_^ I really love the way she's been using buttons in her jewelry lately! So I thought I'd give it a try. So far I've only tried making earrings. So I thought I'd share them with you ^_^

Pretty In Pink

(Sorry about my arm being in the photos lol it's the only way I could get good pictures.) Pink has to be my favorite colors, and I think it really made this necklace look very girly and cute ^_^ I really like this one, and I hope you do too ^_^

A gift to myself

My order from artbeads.com came yesterday ^_^ I went through and used everything but when I was done I still had a few things left over. It wasn't enough to make a necklace or a normal sized bracelet so I thought hmmm what to do. Then it hit me why don't I make my self a bracelet (I have tiny wrists lol). I think it turned out very nice ^_^

Oh and if your wondering what that mark is on my arm. It's were I had a hair tie on my wrist lol. I always keep one on my wrist just in case I need it ^_^ In other news I made a facebook fan page Become a fan if you want. Enjoy the rest of my blog!

Necklace Storage idea

I always find it difficult to store my jewelry without it loosing shape (like when I store it in baggies), but I think I've found a solution.

It's an over the door hanger (meant to be in the bathroom to hold towels) It works really well to keep your jewelry in shape and it doesn't take up much space which is always a good thing. Can you believe that's my whole collection >_< Not very much. I need to get to work and make some more. I hope you found this helpful ^_^ Thank you for reading. Please enjoy the rest of my blog ^_^

Simple Pearl Necklace

I got pictures of one of the necklaces I made with my haul beads. ^_^ It's just a simple pearl choker. With a 2 inch extender chain. It has six stardust roundels to put some sparkle into the necklace.

I hope you like it. Do you think these pictures are any better than normal? I thought my problem was my camera so I got a new one, no better. So then I thought maybe it's because I take my pictures inside so I took them outside, and I'm still not sure if it made a difference >_<. Let me know what you think.

New Camera

I'm sooooo excited. A couple days ago I went to go visit family, and my aunt was there, and I fell madly in love with her camera ^_^ (I can't help it I have a thing for camera's.) Well anyways there was I reason for me to get it lol. I really need to get some good pictures of my jewelry. (Since I really need to get new business cards made) I got the Canon SX20 IS. I'm in Love ^_^ It's everything I need in a camera. Sure there's better ones out there but for me it's perfect. Hopefully tomorrow I can get some good pictures to share with you all. New Jewelry stands

I don't know about you but it's very hard for me to find cheap good quality jewelry displays. But on a trip to Michael's craft store today I made a very exciting find, and thought I would share my finds with you ^_^

The fold out was only $2.99!!!! The 3D was only $7.99! Really good prices ^_^ They are really good quality too ^_^ It really helps your jewelry stand out from the rest when you have nice displays. I don't know about you but the displays are what drag me in at craft shows.

Warning: Very Random Post Ahead!

If you were wondering I did make this bracelet in the same way as the one in this tutorial ^_^

Okay so really this post has nothing to do with the bracelet I just didn't want to have another picture less post because let's face it no pictures = very boring ^_^ Okay so on to the point :) I've really been obsessing over lampwork bead making lately. I'm  really considering looking into classes because I really need to see if I'm even going to like it before I go and invest so much money into getting started. Lampworking is really not a cheap hobby especially if you get all of the equipment then decided you don't even like it. Classes aren't cheap either but a lot cheaper than blindly going out and spending money on things you might not even need. As I see it making beads should go right along with making jewelry ^_^ (oh and by the way I have tried polymer clay bead making really not my thing. I really only tried it to see if it would stop me from wanting to make lampwork beads so badly, but I really failed at it) I mean why buy so many beads when anybody is totally capable of making them for themselves. Don't get me wrong I'll still buy beads (who could resist) but it would be nice to use a couple beads that I've made myself in along with them ^_^
