Button Rings

It's been awhile

It seems like it's been forever since I've blogged. I'm hoping to get a post up soon of some button rings I've been making, but for now (since I have no pictures of the rings) I'm just going to do one of my random blogs about nothing but about everything else ;) I think I mentioned in an earlier post that I loved to take random photos? Well if I didn't you know now lol. One of my favorite things to photograph are animals. Why? because they don't pose or pretend to look pretty they just do what they naturally do, and still seem to look flawless. Here's a few examples

See what I mean just perfection. I guess it helps that I'm an animal lover (I think it's a virus between us crafty people, we all love our animals :) Talk to you all very soon.

Swarovski

I did a little research on swarovski crystals. I found that even though they are lead based you can not be hurt by just wearing the crystals, and that the only way it would cause any harm is if they are consumed. Check out these webpages I found talking about the crystals.

In all it has made me feel a lot better about using these beads in my jewelry because I really do love them. They are unmatched in sparkle and color range and I would have hated to stop using them. Thank you to the two lovely ladies who commented on my last post your comments really mean a lot to me :-)

Flat Spiral Stitch Necklace

I Love Love Love this stitch I've been doing bracelets with it for a couple years now, and I finally got up the courage to do a whole necklace (well choker a necklace wouldn't lay correctly) I Love how it turned out. Oh, and I'm modeling it in the pictures and my grandma took the pictures normally it's the other way around. Oh and another thing let me know if you have this issue, but I don't know if it's my imagination or what, but I think I've developed an allergy to Swarovski crystals because when I'm working with them my fingers itch and when I had this necklace on it made my throat feel tight. Let me know what you think (is it even possible to be allergic to them?) well anyways let's get to the good stuff. :)

Butterflies

I love butterflies ^_^ Weaving that butterfly was not the easiest task (since I used wire it got stuck in those small beads a lot) But I think all the extra work paid off ^_^
