My glass came in on Monday like planed! I love getting new colors to play around with! I order my glass from http://www.morettiandmore.com/ because they have their site set up so you can buy by the rod if you want which is amazing especially if you want to try out a color before committing to buying a 1/4 pound of it. Take a look at the goodies I got :) (around 10 pounds of glass!)
If you want to know the name of a color just ask, and I'll try my very best to help you out.

Maggie Monday
Today is the start of a new series on my blog called Maggie Monday! Maggie Monday is just a post where I update you on everything new or exciting about Maggie. If you don't know who Maggie is check out the picture below :)
Today Maggie went to the vet for her yearly checkup. For a normal dog this would be no problem, but for Maggie it's like torture. For one Maggie is afraid of riding in cars which is due to the long five hour ride we had to take to get her when she was a puppy. She actually did pretty well today though. That was a surprise because she also had a bath today which she doesn't care for. She also has to be blown dry because she's so tiny she'll catch a cold if she stays wet. The vet kept having to get smaller instruments for her lol. (ie. to weigh her, to trim her nails, to give her shots, and to take a fecal sample lol.) The vet gave her an all clear check up :) They also suggested we get her spayed since she's so tiny it would be in her best interest. Let's me know if your pet's are spayed or neutered, and if it had any affect on them or if there were any complications. I hope you enjoyed the first instalment of "Maggie Monday".
Until next time, Happy Beading,

I have a question
Ok so it's been a week since my last post. (I really hate how that sounds lol.) The reason for that is I really haven't been doing anything creative lately :(. So that leads to my question... What would you all like me to blog about when I really don't have anything jewelry or bead related to post about? I feel like I really want to blog, but I just can't think of anything interesting you all would like to hear. So I thought why not ask them what they want to read :) Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
Happy Beading,
Jessica
P.S
I ordered some new glass colors (for lampworking), and they should be here Monday or Tuesday so look out for a post about that sometime next week :)

Lampwork Update
I haven't updated you about my lampwork in like forever! I finally got a picture of some of my newer beads. These haven't been into the kiln beacuse I don't own a kiln yet, and I haven't gotten these to Nell yet for her to anneal them for me. I want to thank everyone who suggested foster fire bead release to me I love it! My beads are getting alot better. I'm really excited that the ends of my beads are looking really good :-) they no longer scratch you when you touch them lol
The light is a little to glaring in this photo it really doesn't do the beads justice. Let me know which is your favorite.

Other People's Beads
Every once in a while someone comes to me and asks if I can make them a piece of jewelry using beads from some of their old jewelry or something. I find it a pretty interesting challenge to work around certain beads. Here's a necklace I made made using someone else's beads. (the nugget beads are theirs)
I hope you found this interesting :)
