Maggie Monday

Today is the start of a new series on my blog called Maggie Monday! Maggie Monday is just a post where I update you on everything new or exciting about Maggie. If you don't know who Maggie is check out the picture below :)
Today Maggie went to the vet for her yearly checkup. For a normal dog this would be no problem, but for Maggie it's like torture. For one Maggie is afraid of riding in cars which is due to the long five hour ride we had to take to get her when she was a puppy. She actually did pretty well today though. That was a surprise because she also had a bath today which she doesn't care for. She also has to be blown dry because she's so tiny she'll catch a cold if she stays wet. The vet kept having to get smaller instruments for her lol. (ie. to weigh her, to trim her nails, to give her shots, and to take a fecal sample lol.) The vet gave her an all clear check up :) They also suggested we get her spayed since she's so tiny it would be in her best interest. Let's me know if your pet's are spayed or neutered, and if it had any affect on them or if there were any complications. I hope you enjoyed the first instalment of "Maggie Monday".

Until next time, Happy Beading,
Jessica and Maggie

  1. She's sooo cute! So tiny!

My dog Curley (who lives with my parents back in my hometown) looks like a big bear. He's a bit wild as well- one of the consequences of my parents listening to me when I was 11 and said I would take care of my puppy (i let him sleep in my bed and spoiled him beyond belief). ANYWAY. When we got him "fixed" my parents thought it would calm him down... It didn't. He still likes to hump legs. And jumps all over you. And holds on to your ankles when you try to leave. He's going on 13 years old now. Still wild. Lol.

  2. Maggie says thank you for the compliments. Awwww your doggie sounds adorable! Maggie is really calm already we were just thinking about getting her fixed because the vet said she would live longer that way, and in smaller dogs it's better for their health. Maggie is very spoiled too, and she sleeps right beside me ^_^
